The Summer I Turned Pretty : Plot , Twist , Suspense , Action and everything you must know .

It’s summertime, and that means the beach, barbecues with friends, and playing until sunset. But for Belly it means something more. It means having to face the new girl in town who is suddenly on every corner. It means trying to love two boys again–one who doesn’t seem to care about her anymore…and one who’s barely known her long enough to call her a friend. And when she discovers that one of those boys is the boy of her dreams…it also means knowing she can never have him.

What is the plot of the story?

The plot of the story is about accidentally meeting your dream boy when you already like someone else. It’s about falling in love for the first time, but it’s also about learning that sometimes love comes in unexpected ways and at unexpected times. And when it does, you should grab ahold of it…and make sure you always believe in happy endings.

Who is in the cast? What role did each character portray?

The cast includes Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Kwai Lun Mei (Moon Lee), Jayden Yuan, and Jerry Yan. Lola Tung portrayed the role of Belly, the girl who was in love with the wrong guy. Jackie Chung portrayed the role of Himesh, the boy that Belly fell in love with at first sight (who also happened to be her long-time best friend). Kwai Lun Mei portrayed the role of Annie, a girl who only wishes for Belly’s happiness and is willing to take any tough decision to make sure that happens. Jayden Yuan portrayed Himesh’s brother, Jeremiah. Jerry Yan portrayed Jeremiah’s best friend and Belly’s long-time crush Chase Matthews.

What are the difficulties they face?

The difficult part about the story was how to write a love story between two best friends. The difficulty involved how to write the story so that it didn’t look like a love triangle. The idea was to make the story different from the usual love triangle with best friends. The difficult part was to make the story realistic and not egotistical.

Who is the antagonist? What are its motives?

The antagonist is Annie. She’s the one who steps in between Himesh and Belly and her motives are to never let those two be together. She’s the one who always tries to get in between them and does anything to make them not love each other. The first epic scene is near the beginning of the story. It’s at the beach where Jeremiah, Chase, Belly, and Annie are hanging out. Jeremiah and Annie are having a picnic together when Himesh starts talking to her with his sunglasses on. She can’t tell if he’s looking at her or not because all she sees is blackness when he looks at her for too long, but still, she falls for him.

Who is the most loved character?

The belly is the most loved character in the story. She is probably the closest character to what a normal teenager would act like in that situation. She’s the type of girl that you can relate to. She has her ups and downs like all of us, but she handles it in a way that makes you want to be her friend and cheer her on. The first difficult decision she faces is when Himesh tells Belly that he still loves her. He tells her that he still thinks about the time they spent together and that it was the best summer of his life. Belly has a hard time with this because she likes Annie, but she also likes Himesh a lot too.

Would you recommend watching this?

Yes, I definitely would recommend watching this. It’s an amazing love story about a boy and two girls. There are also action scenes and twists in it. It’s interesting to see how the characters interact with one another and what kinds of thoughts they have about the situations they go through. Thanks for reading!
