What is the plot of the story?

The story is about a teenage girl, Kamala Khan, who is an American Muslim of Pakistani descent and she befriends a mysterious Inhuman named “Inhuman In-Hak” that gives her the powers of the winged Inhuman. She gets superpowers similar to Captain Marvel’s and calls herself Ms. Marvel after Carol Danvers, the original Ms. Marvel. It’s especially hard for Kamala because she’s so different from everyone else — she wears a hijab and prays instead of hanging out with friends. Because she feels so alone, it makes sense that finding out about Inhuman In-Hak would give her instant friends that don’t make fun of her or call her names.

Who is in the cast? What role did each character portray?

The cast includes Iman Vellani, Fawad Khan, Chloe Bennet, and Reg E. Cathey. The main character is Kamala Khan. Iman Vellani portrays Ms. Marvel’s mom and she is Kamala Khan’s role model. Fawad Khan portrays Ms. Marvel’s dad and he kind of worries that his daughter doesn’t fit in. Chris Evans portrays Captain America, which is Kamala Khan’s role model as well as some other character traits. Chloe Bennet portrays Quake, which is like a team leader, while Reg E. Cathey portrays Dr. David Lang.

What are the difficulties they face?

Kamala Khan faces many difficulties like family problems, peer pressure, and so on. Her family is not accepting of her because they think that she doesn’t fit in at school or at home. Kamala thinks that if she can get superpowers like the characters she has looked up to then everything will be okay. There are many themes in this book like identity and religion. The whole book is about Kamala trying to find who she is and what kind of Muslim she wants to be. She struggles with very religious parents who expect her to be more like them while her non-Muslim friends expect her to be more normal than everyone else at school.

Who is the antagonist? What are its motives?

Kamala Khan’s antagonist is “Inhuman In-Hak”, who appears to be a villain but isn’t. He gives Kamala the powers of the winged Inhuman and “Inhuman In-Hak” has no plans of harming her, he just wants to help her fit in and be normal. The epic scenes are when Kamala is in her room and she hears a knock on the door, but she can’t hear anything over the sound of her heartbeat. She gets superpowers and flies out onto the roof to find Ms. Marvel standing there, who tells her we can’t talk right now because she has to go do something important, which is for Ms. Marvel to go get ready for a mission. She looks at herself in a mirror and sees that she has wings from all the times that “Inhuman In-Hak” has helped her with her powers.

Who is the most loved character?

Ms. Marvel is loved by her non-Muslim friends and her Muslim friends. Her best friend is D.W., whom she loves to play video games with, and who doesn’t make fun of Kamala for wearing a hijab. The other characters that love Ms. Marvel are Rocket Raccoon who was sad when the Inhumans were all destroyed and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
