Jurassic World : Hits a jackpot with 55 Million dollars Internationally at the Box Office .

The movie Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom is set to hit theaters in just a few short months. The first-ever sequel will fight two of the most dangerous predators–humans and capitalization–not with guns. But with its own charisma and ambition. It will be interesting to see how this dramatic film tackles the idea of progress.  As it explores what it means to be human against an increasingly complex backdrop of technology and climate change. As we anxiously await the new film, let’s take a look back at the original–a classic in its own right. In 1993, the world was introduced to dinosaurs once again as Steven Spielberg released his newest film, Jurassic Park.

What is the plot of the story ?

In the film, a group of wealthy and powerful people–the Whitmore family–move their children to a newly constructed park located on Isla Nublar to prevent its development. Unfortunately, they are unaware that Isla Nublar houses a deadly prehistoric species of dinosaur. Once the park is established, an ambitious young paleobotanist named Alan Grant soon discovers these dinosaurs and learns that there is much more to be learned from them than originally thought. Grant and the others must find a way to escape Isla Nublar as well as escape the wrath of the vicious creatures from space.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Sam Neill , Laura Dern , Jeff Goldblum , Joseph Mazzello , and Richard Attenborough . Sam Neill played the role of Alan Grant, a paleontologist at the park, who was brought on board to ensure that the dinosaurs remain safe. Laura Dern played the role of Ellie Sadler, a scientist who works at Jurassic Park who is one of many people impressed by Grant’s work as a paleontologist. Jeffrey Goldblum played the role of John Hammond, the owner and CEO of Jurassic Park. Joseph Mazzello played the role of Tim Murphy, a child who works at Jurassic Park as a raptor handler. Richard Attenborough played the role of Robert Muldoon, an executive at InGen who is also one of Grant’s colleagues in his work at Jurassic Park.

What are the difficulties they face ?

Many of the difficulties that the cast faces are brought up in the film. The first issue is the issue of capitalization. The dinosaurs were created using extracted DNA from mosquitoes that had feasted on dinosaur blood. The process used to extract this DNA is called DNA hybridization, which mimics a natural phenomenon in nature where insects will collect dinosaur dung and subsequently become infected with ingested particles of dino DNA. This enables them to carry around the dino gene in their blood which can then be extracted. The process used in the film is not that far off from the actual process used to clone dinosaurs for Jurassic Park but with a slight difference ; instead of just extracting dinosaur DNA from mosquitoes, they went ahead and added additional DNA from frogs and even humans.

Who is the antagonist? What are the motives ?

The antagonists in the film include John Hammond and Ian Malcolm. The first is a wealthy and powerful businessman who is involved in the development of Jurassic Park, Hammond. As he states in the beginning of the film, he believes that Isla Nublar can be used for good and that it can be used for restoration. However, in my opinion, his main motivator was not so much about good as it was about money; he wanted to make millions by adding dinosaurs to his park. Ian Malcolm on the other hand made very little money from his company’s research on dinosaur DNA; he was not employed by InGen, but rather was hired as an independent consultant.

Would you recommend watching this ?

I would recommend watching this film if you want to watch an intelligent and thought-provoking film. It is a classic in the world of science fiction that has been viewed by millions of people around the world. I would also recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about cloning, DNA hybridization, dinosaurs and more. Thanks for reading !
