What is the ending like?
The ending is bittersweet. The series finale has all of our favourite characters together one last time before they go their separate ways, but there are some sad moments too like when Anna Bates (Joanne Froggatt) dies from cancer after only living four years with her husband Mr Green (Matt Milne). It’s really beautiful because we get to see her say goodbye to everyone she loves before passing away peacefully in bed surrounded by family members like Mrs Hughes (Phyllis Logan) and Tom Branson (Allen Leech).
Is the series worth the watch?
Absolutely! The series is beautifully written and the acting is phenomenal. You really feel like you’re a part of their world by the end of it. For example, don’t give up on your dreams even when times get tough or always be there for those who need you most because they might not always be here tomorrow.
