The Ring is a magic ring forged by Sauron in the First Age, thousands of years before the events of the story. It was created to be his ultimate weapon. And gives its wearer invisibility and invincibility. The Ring was taken from Sauron by Isildur.  A human king, in the War of the Last Alliance.

The cast of the Lord of the Rings includes many famous actors. Such as Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, and Ian McKellen. Each character in the movie plays an important role in the story. Frodo is the main character. And is played by Elijah Wood. Samwise Gamgee is his loyal friend and sidekick, played by Sean Astin. Gandalf is a powerful wizard and friend of Frodo’s, played by Ian McKellen. Saruman is a treacherous wizard. Who betrays Gandalf and the other good guys, played by Christopher Lee. Boromir is a valiant warrior from Gondor. Who tries to take The Ring for himself, played by Orlando Bloom.

What are the Big Incidents?

The big incidents in The Lord of the Rings are when Frodo and Sam encounter Gollum. When they are captured by Orcs. When they are rescued by Gandalf, when they meet up with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, when Boromir tries to take The Ring from Frodo. And finally when Frodo reaches Mordor.
