‘The Gilded Age’ finally arrives on HBO .

The Gilded Age is a story of two families, the aristocratic Brook family and the newly wealthy Russell family. The play takes place in 1875 at the height of New York City’s elite. Cynthia Nixon as Ada Brook, sister of Agnes and reliant upon her charity. Carrie Coon as Bertha Russell determined to use her family’s wealth to improve the world.
