What is the film about?

Grief and sadness are the main themes of this movie. The characters deal with many hardships throughout the film. And these must be overcome in order to survive. As a result, there is not much humour present; however, it does exist at times within various situations. As well as through some dialogue that displays how people cope with grief differently from one another. The characters in the movie deal with love for one another, family issues, and grief through a great number of hardships that are endured together as well as separately throughout the film’s duration.

What awards did the film win?

Awards:   Won two Oscars; Best Supporting Actor (Jeff Bridges) and Original Screenplay (Taylor Sheridan). Nominated for four other awards including Best Picture, Best Director (David Mackenzie), Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

Why should you watch it?

The movie is visually stunning with a fantastic soundtrack that makes the viewing experience even more enjoyable than usual. It also has an incredible cast of actors who portray their characters extremely well without being too exaggerated or underwhelming in any way. It’s an intense movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you think about the current state of our world. It’s definitely worth a watch if you’re looking for something that’s both entertaining and thought-provoking.

What made them take such a big decision?

The film follows the story of two brothers, Toby (Chris Pine) and Tanner (Ben Foster), who are forced to rob banks in order to save their family farm. The reason they’re driven to such drastic measures is that the bank is threatening to take away their land due to foreclosure. It’s an incredibly relevant topic that many people can relate to. It’s a very tense movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you think about the current state of our world, especially in regards to how banks are currently treating those who take out mortgages .

What social message does this give to others?

The overall message of the movie is that sometimes you have to fight for what’s yours, no matter what the cost. It also highlights the importance of family and sticking together in times of need. This could be seen as a social message to others, encouraging them to stand up for themselves and their families. It’s a powerful film with an important message.

What part of it is most interesting ?

The best thing about this movie would have to be its pacing and how well it’s structured. What was your favourite part?

My favourite part of the movie would have to be the ending, where everything comes together in a very satisfying way. It’s not often that you see a movie with such a strong ending.

What was your least favourite part?

One of my main gripes with the movie is that it doesn’t really explain much to you. You’re kind of just expected to keep up and figure things out as they come, which can be frustrating when everything isn’t perfectly clean or if there’s a lot going on at once.

Is the film based on a real story?

Yes, the film is based on real events that took place in Texas. However, there are some elements that have been changed or exaggerated for the sake of the movie.

Would you recommend it?

Yes, I would definitely recommend this film to anyone looking for an intense and well-done thriller. Just be prepared to do a bit of thinking along the way!
