About the Show
The story of The Rising Of The Shield Hero takes place in a fantasy world. In this land, four heroes have been tasked with the protection of the people and defeating an evil being known as The Demon King. However, one day these heroes come back to their kingdom defeated by a demon named Naofumi Iwatani. He is then accused of all crimes done by The Demon King’s army and gets blamed for it! This leaves him alone on his adventure journey where he meets various companions who help him out along the way from bandits attacking travelers to helping rebuild villages destroyed by monsters. Will he be able to prove his innocence?

“The Rising Of The Shield Hero” Season 2 Renewal and Release Date Updates
“The Rising Of The Shield Hero” Season is the sequel; to the anime series “The Rising of The Shield Hero.” It was first aired in 2020 and will be releasing its next season this October. The production company, Kinema Citrus announced that they are working on a new project which will go by the name of “Shieldbro,” which fans believe might be an adaptation for the second installment! However, there’s still no official confirmation regarding it yet.

It was announced initially that the series will release in October 2021, however, the second season is now delayed until 2022.
