Carol’s character began life as “Vers,” one of four members of a Kree team called Starforce. Vers has superhuman abilities thanks to being genetically modified by her race known as “Kree”. This gives her strength, speed, and endurance that far surpass any normal humans’. She also possesses other powers such as telekinesis, energy absorption/projection, regenerative healing factor.
