The Netflix animated adaptation of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has a release date: “soon,” according to the show’s executive producer. There have been numerous animated shows aired by Disney’s networks over the years that aren’t directly connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. M.O.D.O.K., for example, was recently seen on Hulu, but Marvel’s animated content has historically been focused on Disney Channel and Disney XD.

Cast Details of Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur:

  • Diamond White as Lunella Lafayette / Moon Girl
  • Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur
  • Alfre Woodard as Mimi
  • Sasheer Zamata as Andria
  • Jermaine Fowler as James Jr.
  • Gary Anthony Williams as Pops
  • Libe Barer as Casey
  • Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder

All The Other Latest Updates and Speculations:

Since 2012, Disney XD has aired a number of animated series centered on Spider-Man, The Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy. It was announced in 2018 that Marvel is working on an animated program for the Disney Channel based on a lesser-known property: the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur comic book series.

Laurence Fishburne is the brains behind the concept. The series will be created by none other than Laurence Fishburne, according to reports. Since the cast was announced in early 2018, there haven’t been many updates on the show, until one of its executive producers recently spoke up.

When asked about Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur during an interview with Comicbook, Steve Loter mentioned The Ghost and Molly McGee, his next Disney Channel series, when he was questioned about it.

“It’s fantastic,” Louter stated, “and it’ll be out soon.” He could only add, “It’s great. It’s coming soon.” Bill Motz, his collaborator, also said that it was “fantastic” and that it would be available soon.

Loter’s hint was as general as possible, implying that he is optimistic about the program and that it will be released soon. The Disney Channel has yet to announce a premiere date for Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The film is still expected to debut in February 2022.

Executive producer Cort Lane was cautious not to reveal any story specifics. That Lunella Lafayette, a 13-year-old super-genius, inadvertently transports her 10-ton T-Rex from the prehistoric age of Earth to present-day New York City through a time vortex will be the show’s storyline.
