Plot Expectations and Storyline
It tells the story of a family that has been torn apart by tragedy. The main character, Asher, is struggling with his demons while trying to help out around the house and look after “little brother,” Elijah. However, when their parents go away for work on an extended trip it forces both boys to grow up quickly – but in different ways.
Asher turns to drugs and alcohol while Elijah learns more about life from some new friends he befriends online. What follows is a heartbreaking tale that truly shows how far these characters are willing to go to get what they want most: each other back again.
