The series is based on the “House of Secrets” book trilogy, which was co-written by “A Wrinkle in Time”‘s Madeleine L’Engle and her granddaughters – Margaret Stohl (co-writer for “Black Widow”) & Charlotte Jones Voiklis (who also served as a producer).

“House Of Secrets” follows two siblings who move to Hawkins with their mother; after their father goes missing under mysterious circumstances. They meet another group of teens while searching for him, but they soon find themselves entangled in something much larger than just one teenage case.

“House Of Secrets” Filming and Release Date Updates

The show starts filming this month, so we don’t have too long before we see our first glimpse at what is sure to be a thrilling new entry into the sci-fi mystery genre. “House Of Secrets” will arrive on Disney Plus in 2022, with the first season consisting of eight episodes. “House Of Secrets” is an American television series created for Disney’s upcoming streaming service.
