He is writing and executive producing the series, which will be directed by Shinichiro Watanabe – the director of the original animated version in Japan from 1998 to 1999. André has written films such as “Marley & Me,” “The Mighty Ducks,” and its sequels, starring Emilio Estevez; produced films like “Now You See Me” along with films including Jason Bateman’s directorial debut film: “Bad Words.”
