Tracy Morgan in “Twins” – This is not the first time that Tracy has teased his fans; about a possible Twins sequel. He previously posted on Facebook, which was shared by Danny DeVito’s wife, Rhea Pearlman, who also appeared in the original movie with her husband and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“I’ve been trying… I did another post saying ‘coming soon,’ but it never came.” One of our readers saw Tracy at Sundance back in January when he asked him if there would ever be a second part to “Twins,” Tracy replied, “Yes!” However, last week, TMZ caught up with Tracy outside an airport where they showed him some photos from what appears to be the set of “Twins.” Tracy commented, “I don’t know what that is. I’m just here for the weather report,” Tracy said in his usual joking manner – which we love!

So, where does this leave us? Well, all signs are pointing to a sequel, but it has not been confirmed yet by Universal. The renewal is almost certain, but the release date is yet to be decided.

“Twins 2” Speculated Story and Plot Details

The original “Twins” was a big hit – so why not make a sequel? The movie starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito as the unlikely twin brothers who were separated at birth. Tracy will be playing their long-lost brother, Julius Benedict (the role that Eddie Murphy had played in the first one).

Of course, there is no information on what exact direction they will be taking with this new installment, but we can assume it’ll involve some sort of mistaken identity where Tracy’s character comes to believe he is related to these two guys when he has no connection whatsoever. We would love for him to get involved with them somehow, though! Maybe Tracy could come up with an elaborate scheme involving someone else which backfires horribly.
