Set sometime after Anna Brown left her position as mayor, most of the characters from season one will return to Netflix’s “On The Verge.” Willa becomes the new mayor of New Ham and establishes a relationship with her son, who still lives there.

The trailer also shows Paul Schneider as Peter Fox returning home to his wife Emily after being released from prison for covering up a crime years ago- which many believe he actually committed. Meanwhile, Tom Stevens seems content staying in New Ham, where he has been accepted more so than back at his old job as an assistant professor at Harvard University.

Basically, the show shows the struggle of women and their condition post-covid-19.
