Sarah Shahi Teases Updates About “Black Adam”!
It’s been a while since Sarah Shahi has played Reeva Payge, but she is set to return in the upcoming movie “Black Adam.” Sarah recently posted an image of herself on her Instagram account with the caption, “We are getting ready for our next shoot. What do you think?”
The post was liked over 3 thousand times and received many comments from fans asking when they can see her in this new role. Sarah responded with “I’m so excited that I get to be back on set again!” Fans seem thrilled too, as one fan commented, saying, “Finally! I’ve missed seeing your beautiful face.” This will be Sarah’s first time returning to film since giving birth last year.
About the Film “Black Adam”
The plot is still under wraps. But it seems to be an origin story for Black Adam, which makes sense since he starts as a hero. And turns into one of DC’s most notorious villains. Cast Sarah Shahi has confirmed she is returning to film, even though her son was born last year with husband Steve Howey, who currently stars on Showtime’s Shameless. Sarah shared that she would like to return after giving birth saying, “I don’t really know how I’m going to do it yet because you’re supposed to take at least six weeks off.”
“Black Adam” Official Release Date Announcement
It was rumored that “Black Adam” might be released in 2021, but we got an official confirmation today at San Diego Comic-Con. The film is scheduled to premiere on July 29, 2022. And it will be the only DCEU movie releasing next year! Sarah Shahi confirmed she’d play as a mommy badass: “I’m going to do it!”

Sarah Shahi Teases Plot Updates About “Black Adam”!
Shahi recently sat down with Collider to tease updates about the upcoming Black Adam film. Sarah Shahi mentioned that she loves playing a strong female character like her role in “Shooter.”
The actress also stated it is incredible how powerful Shazam’s alter ego will be on screen, considering his powers are magical, not science-based. Sarah said audiences should expect lots of action and fighting scenes when he turns into Billy Batson’s superhero form! The series is still developing, so there isn’t too much known yet, but Sarah teased that viewers can look forward to seeing some familiar faces from other DC projects, including Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana.
