Aquaman: King of Atlantis: The Upcoming Animated Series On HBO Max
In the animated miniseries, HBO Max will exclusively broadcast “Aquaman: King of Atlantis.” While very little is known about it, a glimpse and plot summary provides fans at least a taste of what to expect.
In January 2021, Variety revealed the animated miniseries, with James Wan serving as an executive producer. Most people are familiar with his ground-breaking horror franchises “Saw” and “The Conjuring,” but he has also directed 2018’s “Aquaman.”
Despite the fact that Wan was a producer on the new animated program, it will be targeted at a younger audience than the feature film. HBO Max’s head of original programming, Sarah Aubrey, said it would “add to our already robust line-up of children and family programs.”
According to /Film, supporters of the project have already seen a sneak preview of it, but WarnerMedia’s official description provides an even better look at “Aquaman: King of Atlantis.” HBO Max’s animated miniseries has all you need to know.

WarnerMedia has yet to reveal an official launch date for the program; however, information from the announcement reveals that ACME Nights, which “Aquaman: King of Atlantis” is included in, will debut on HBO Max on September 19.
