Wonder Years fans rejoice! The reboot of The Wonder Years has finally been given a release date and the producers have just announced that they are casting for new characters. Fans who grew up with The Wonder Years will remember the episode where Kevin Arnold’s family moves to California and he starts a new life at his high school there. The plot is going to follow this same storyline as it takes place in an alternate timeline from the original series.

What can we expect? It hasn’t been announced but likely Kevin Arnold will leave New York for California to start a new life after having grown up in New York City much like the Original Series.

Wonder Years is coming back!! The original show aired from 1988-1993 and many fans are excited; that the producers of The Goldbergs (another popular 80’s themed show) have announced; they will be rebooting The Wonder Years.

The reboot release date has not been released yet, but we do know it won’t be a continuation; of Kevin Arnold’s story. The plot was described as taking place in an alternate timeline; which follows him moving to California with his family after having grown up in New York City much like the Original Series.

“The Wonder Years Reboot” Official Release Date

The Wonder Years Reboot will finally be available for viewing in 2021. The cast hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we expect to see the majority of them; returning as they were already adults; when this series debuted back during their teenage years. It’s being produced by Netflix. And while there is no exact release date set it’s expected that it’ll premiere sometime next year!

The official release date for the series is 22nd September 2021.

The cast is hopeful that they can bring back the original actors to reprise their roles, as well as have a few additional members join.
