Exclusive News: The Office Show Is In Talks To Release A Reboot Series On NBC!

The Office, one of NBC’s most popular shows from the 2000s, is in talks to have a reboot series on their network. The show was originally created by Greg Daniels and Ricky Gervais and ran for nine seasons before it ended in 2013.

The new series will be set in the present day as opposed to The Office: An American Workplace which took place during the 1980s and 1990s. The show has been revived before with two spin-off movies starring Steve Carrell called The Office Christmas Party (2016) and The Boss Baby: Back to Business (2017). It seems that NBC is hoping this reboot will bring back some of its former glory!

The Office has won six Emmy Awards and nine Screen Actors Guild Awards during its run for outstanding lead actor and actress in comedy respectively.

The show follows regional manager Michael Scott who perseveres through his struggles with being bossy, inappropriate, and insensitive while he tries to manage Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch office located at 1725 Slough Avenue in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The show is a mockumentary that follows the lives of employees working at the paper company Dunder Mifflin.
