Black Panther’s Riri Williams Adds Power To The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Riri Williams, who has been a fan-favorite character in the comics since her introduction to the Marvel Universe as an alternate Iron Man, will be joining Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther in his sequel. The announcement was made by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con.
The Latest Updates and News:
Recently, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige let it be known that Riri Williams (Ironheart), played by Dominique Thorne, would appear in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie and her own Disney+ TV series, but I have heard from one of my sources that it is far more than just a cameo role.
Industrialist Tony Stark has added teenage genius Riri Williams to his worldwide team of superheroes, inking her to join his all-star roster of armored avengers. As a result, she’ll be getting an armor suit made of vibranium and full of Wakandan technology.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed to ComicBook the news previously posted by KC Walsh and Lizzie Hill that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had added Dominique Thorne as Ironheart to its cast. She will make her MCU debut in the film ahead of the release of her self-titled series.
Tony Stark, the Ironman, is joining the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever AKA Marvel Studios’ 2018 release Black Panther. I can’t wait to see it!
Riri Williams, Ironheart (named after the twenty-third century Tony Stark’s alias), was created by Brian Bendis and Mike Deodato. She first appeared in 2015’s Invincible Iron Man #7 comic as a teenage engineering genius who gets herself accepted to MIT, where she designs her own version of an Iron Man suit in the university dorms.
Tony Stark, who at one point in time retired from the Iron Man series to explore other creative things, reached out and helped Riri Williams with her suit design and AI. It will be interesting to see how Marvel manages her origin. Perhaps Disney will want a little girl as the latest addition to Black Panther 2 instead of Tony Stark, who is assumedly dead in Infinity War?
Black Panther’s second installment includes Riri Williams. Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole will be collaborating to create the script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Dominique Thorne (with Tenoch Huerta) are confirmed to star in the movie, which is set to release on July 8th, 2022.
