“Scenes From A Marriage” is a novel written by Swedish author Ingmar Bergman in 1974. Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain will be starring as the main characters, Johan Borg and his wife, Marianne. The series follows their relationship from its beginning to end following three stages; of marriage: first love (which includes both heartache and infidelity), middle-age (with an unexpected pregnancy), and finally old age retirement; which sees them coming together once again; though they are now divorced.”

The plot revolves around this couple’s tumultuous journey through life with each other. They start very happily, but over time, things change for various reasons, including issues such as children growing up or having affairs with one another.
