Hawkeye Plot Synopsis:
While a couple of things are known about the upcoming show, there is no official confirmation of Hawkeye’s storyline. We do know that it will center around Clint training Kate to take over his role.
And we also know that we will see how his time as Ronin has affected him. Speaking to EW, Render revealed that when Kate Bishop in the series meets her, she’s a strong supporter of Hawkeye.
It’s also possible we will see some build-up to Young Avengers. The recent MCU Disney+ shows have introduced the founding Young Avengers members.
Kate Bishop is the first Young Avenger to have a lead role in the MCU, and this could mean more groundwork will be laid for her future team. After the state of the Avengers is a question mark in the MCU, we may end up seeing fewer and fewer Avenger films.
Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye comic books will be the basis of new material for the miniseries. The book has won the Harvey and Eisner Awards, which is a good indication of its quality. It ranks among Marvel’s best releases in recent memory.
The comics in question feature Clint as a regular person who wants to keep his neighborhood safe and strives for normalcy from the stress of being an Avenger. Despite his lack of association with the S.H.I.E.L.D., Hawkeye still finds himself swept up in missions and teased by his protege/partner, Kate Bishop
The series introduces a number of points of interest, such as Clint taking on tracksuit-wearing goons, locating his dog Lucky, and losing his hearing. The comic book series found Clint struggling to be a hero, with all the limitations of an average person.
