Ever since the first season concluded, there has been an unusually high amount of anticipation for King Of Joburg’s second season. Shona took to Instagram yesterday with a big reveal. While sitting in his Lamborghini, a wealthy businessman and TV personality announced the start of King of Joburg Season 2 to reporters after spending time with his daughter.

The first season of King of Jo’burg was released on December 3, 2020. All six episodes were dropped that same day. The release date of the second season has been speculated to be around the same time.

Soon Season 2 of King Of Joburg is to premiere on December 3, 2021. But with the passing of Shona in season 2, there may be a change in schedule for King of Joburg. The show is only available on Netflix. The first season of the show was released on November 11, 2020.

What Kings of Jo’burg Is About?

“Kings of Jo’burg” revolves around the crime lords from Johannesburg. Simon “Vader” Masire is the elder who rules over the underworld with an iron fist, while his brother James operates The Apartheid Museum.

Mo nearly sacrificed his life and took a bullet for his brother. The first episode begins with the release of a king who was rotting in prison. They all left him to rot in prison, but he gets released from prison early on.

And on the same day, Vader executes a robbery. In this robbery, we see mystical powers within him as he passes security and obtains an object of significance
