They’ll find themselves in a dark version of Tokyo; called Midgar; which was under the control of evil corporation Shinra; for years until it was overthrown by rebel resistance ten years prior. The leader of this rebellion – Cloud Strife – now works as a mercenary with his old friend Tifa Lockhart (who owns Club Sector) and other new faces such as Barrett Wallace from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
