Gaikotsu Kishi-Sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu is a Japanese light novel series that began its online serialization on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, a novel publishing website. It was later picked up by Overlap under their label to publish more novels. A total of 9 volumes have been published so far.

The light novel was adapted to a manga with Akira Sawano as the author, and was published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment under the title “Skeleton Knight in Another World.”

The release of the first light novel and manga in this region took place on June 11th for the print version and July 9th for the digital version. Looking at the anime adaptation, we might get some good news for fans. According to TV anime’s Twitter account, a new anime is confirmed on April 17th of 2021.

The anime series will be a collaborative effort between HORNETS and Studio Kai, Katsumi Ono directing the team anchoring the directorial duties while Tōru Imanishi handles character design.

Arc, an average gamer and a person with a sedentary lifestyle, sees his own reflection in the river. When he realizes that it’s the avatar for his Game Mobile he feels surprised.

The protagonist understands the weight of his situation and realizes that he has been transported into the game world. When he has no other option, the protagonist seeks help from some unknown people to find some answers. He runs into a group of bandits trying to molest women and is picked up by one of them. Arc immediately comes to their rescue and slaughters every despicable man around them.

The protagonist then learns that one of the women he saved is a noblewoman named Laurie, who provides him with a copper passport. After the gamer finalizes his game of Yo-Kai Watch, he discovers that not only is there nothing to do in the real world, but it’s a living nightmare.
