Now You See Me 3 is in the works and it looks like the stars who could reprise their roles are as follows:

Meanwhile, the release date for “Now You See Me 3” remains a secret to avoid speculation. Even so, Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s recent addition is stirring interest. Now You See Me 3 is set to be a unique film. It’s expected to be more of a traditional robbery plot than the first two films’ complex, a mind game. Lionsgate has hired Eric Warren Singer to pen the script for Now You See Me 3, following his success with Top Gun: Maverick. He was nominated for two Oscars for writing American Hustle.

“Eric’s always been fascinated by the fine art of deception and illusion in all of its forms,” President of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Nathan Kahane said on behalf of Singer, “and he came to us with a story that takes the mythology of Now You See Me and pushes The Four Horsemen to a whole new level.”

In an attempt to encourage the original cast to return for this installment, Lionsgate has hired writers Marcus Warren Singer and Eric Warren Singer Jr. Aaron Edmonds and Meredith Wieck are overseeing the project.
