Netflix gave Love Is Blind Season 2 and Love is Blind Season 3 a two-season renewal. The very bad news is that the coronavirus pandemic has delayed all film and television productions, including Love Is Blind season 2.

Netflix held casting sessions in Chicago for Love Is Blind season 2. Season 2 of “Love Is Blind” only features cast members from Atlanta, whereas season 1 drew its participants mostly from the greater Atlanta area.

There will be no returning cast members from season 1 in season 2. The whole show is based on the idea that contestants are completely unfamiliar with each other and their looks.

Love Is Blind Season 2 Plot Synopsis:

Love Is Blind Season 2 will likely follow the same format as season 1, with minor modifications. It’s like the love child of The Bachelor and Married at First Sight. It has all the drama of both, but with everyone wearing blindfolds.

The cast members have total control after the initial dates last 5 to 7 minutes. They can decide if they want to go on more dates with someone, and for how long. If a man is interested in her, he can propose after 10 days of getting to know her through the podcast. If she agrees, they could finally meet face to face.

The engaged couples go to Mexico for a romantic vacation that they share at the same resort. They are forced to meet some of the other people they dated during their time in the pods. Though the couples are engaged, they live apart from each other for the season of ‘Love is Blind’.

Two episodes after their engagement; each couple moves into a shared apartment and gets used to living together. They meet each other’s friends and family before deciding to move in together or break up. “Love is Blind” Season 2 follows multiple couples as they make the difficult decision to get married in order to break up.

During the first season of Love Is Blind, eight couples got engaged. But the show only focused on six (the two couples who weren’t given a story arc didn’t end up getting married). We hope to see a longer second season that will follow more love stories.
