Due to Netflix’s announcement, Dead to Me is coming back for a third but final season in July 2020. Dead to Me, the new Netflix show from Liz Feldman, was intended by her as a short-lived show – she already knows how it’s going to end.

Dead to Me Season 3 Plot Synopsis:

While the first two seasons were singular journeys dedicated to a mystery, Season 3 is now about somebody else’s secret. The series draws to a close with an explosive Season 3 as we get more acquainted with the other women in Pine Valley.

“This is your last chance to go warn Jen,” made me think back on the show, “dead to me”. I remembered that it appears as if Ben will have a secret based on how Season 2 ended.

Jen and Ben’s relationship has been absent since the accident in the second season finale. The third installment of the dead to me is supposed to dive more into “answer [questions] about why it happened, what led up to it, how much responsibility he carries for his own father’s death.”

James revealed that season 3 could focus on Ben who finds out Jen might have been the person responsible for Tom’s death and he hit a boy with his car. The hit-and-run victim’s own brother was guilty of a hit-and-run in the first season.

One of the most compelling aspects of “Dead to Me” is that it doesn’t rely on any central villain. Season 3 will not have one all-powerful person trying to take over the world, but if Ben who wasn’t at the last event when his wife died and could plausibly be considered a suspect in her death has some sort of secret or involvement with members of an organization we don’t know about yet, something bad could happen.

It’s unclear whether the SoCal friends will be able to force the mafia into helping cover up the women’s crimes, or if they’ll return to committing even worse illegal activity. The secrets these pals have just refuse to stay at least.
