Yes! “Them” will be returning for a second season on Amazon. The move is seen as a vote of confidence from the streaming service.

The show is an anthology horror, so this story of the Emory family has been done. Little Marvin has disclosed that every season of “Them” will explore a different time and place, which changes things up when it comes to casting and synopsis.

“Them” is season 2 of a popular Amazon show. It was first announced in 2018 but didn’t get its cast or showrunner until the following year. This usually takes 14-18 months to finish for new seasons on the Amazon series.

Official word has yet to be announced for whether or not “Them” season 2 is coming, but it hopefully won’t be long before we know more about the show. Netflix will release the second season of Them in 2022, but it’s not confirmed when.

Them Season 2 Plot Synopsis and Cast Details:

The series, Them (season 2 of Amazon Prime), tells the story of a black family who moves to an all-white neighborhood in Los Angeles in the 1950s. A movement called the Great Migration took place from 1910 to 1970. African Americans migrated north to escape racism and segregation, finding better opportunities in densely populated urban areas.

The necessity of moving west or east in Facing many racist attitudes in rural areas of the Southern USA, families found the solution by moving to the west and east. Emory’s family was one. Lucky (Deborah Ayorinde), husband Henry Emory (Ashley Thomas), daughters Gracie (Melody Hurd) and Ruby (Shahadi Wright Joseph) set off from North Carolina in 1953, during the Great Migration, in Compton, to a non-white population.

They are a black family of four, who just moved to the US after living through tragic events in their old country. They love their new home and life in general at first–but as time goes on, they learn that America is not what it seemed.

The family quickly finds themselves at the center of a threatening supernatural game a consequence of their neighbors’ obsession. Members of the family find themselves at the center of a supernatural conflict due to their peers’ fixation on them.

Henry, the father of the house, became a successful engineer after his long efforts and was able to buy the house. Although he tried to ignore the repulsive movements of their neighbors as much as possible, it was hard for Lucky to not be bothered by them every day.

The older daughter of the house, Ruby, is happy at her new school – but she encounters an unsettling figure named Miss Vera. Day by day, members of the family encounter unimaginable supernatural problems.

The problem of racism is systematically prevalent in various contexts all over the world it often pops up within day-to-day situations. Unfortunately, many people feel helpless and accept their indifference as a viable answer to questions of prejudice.

The evil and frightening characters that haunt their family members touch on different racial issues. The characters’ desire for equal living conditions with white people is utopian because of the perspective of society, despite being in similar status and class.
