Pam Grier talks about her experience filming a horror movie and what drew her to this project

I’ve been offered some interesting things like playing Cleopatra but I thought ‘no’. It was more something visceral – just all of those slasher films terrified me when I was younger.” Pam explained she wanted one “to do the good scary film; That would be incredible- it would make my career!” Pam talked about how she got cast: “When they called me up and said ‘Wanna do a slasher film?’ I was like ‘Sure! Bring it on!’.”

What Pam has to say about horror films: “You can’t please everybody. A lot of people love the horror genre and they just want more gore, blood spills, that sort of thing. But there is also an audience for great intellectual suspenseful thrillers as well!”
