Ted Lasso Season 2 is finally here! Brett Goldstein has been updating his fans about the show and we know you’re excited to hear what he’s got to say. This post will update you on the plot, cast, and Brett’s thoughts about Ted Lasso Season 2.

About the Series “Ted Lasso”

Ted Lasso has always been Brett Goldstein’s passion. Along with his brother, they wrote Ted Lasso Season One and it was an instant success. The series is about how the world would be different if a soccer star became President of the United States; a twist on Donald Trump being elected president in 2016. Brett says “Ted Lasso Season Two” will focus more closely on what to do when you run for office by telling the story through Ted himself as he runs for higher office. The story is written by Brett Goldstein along with Jason Sudeikis who wrote Ted Lasso season one.

Ted Lasso Season 2 and Season 3 Renewal Status

Ted Lasso Season Two and Three are still Brett Goldstein’s goals. Brett said, “I want to see Ted go all the way up, get elected president of the United States.” Brett spoke about being on set for this season and how excited he was that they were getting close to filming his favorite episodes.

Therefore, Ted Lasso has been renewed for Season 2 which has a very close release date for this year, whereas Season 3 production will begin sometime later this year. The production of Season Three remains underway so there is no official release date set for either season at this time.
