Elizabeth Olsen In Doctor Strange 2

Elizabeth Olsen believes Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be the scariest Marvel movie yet. COVID-19 delayed production which allowed for Raimi more time to get acclimated to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In addition to it featuring the return of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange and exploring the multiverse, Doctor Strange 2 will continue Scarlet Witch’s story after WandaVision. Olsen was revealed to be one of Cumberbatch’s main co-stars back when the movie was first announced. She has continued to praise her experience on this Marvel blockbuster production and is now once again hyping how scary it will be.

Other Details To Know

In her first Emmy nomination, Elizabeth Olsen participated in a Q&A with the New York Film Academy as the product of her attendance. Some people might not be eager for Doctor Strange 2,  especially if the first one was underwhelming. While director Scott Derrickson originally declared that it will indeed be Marvel’s first PG-13 horror movie, Kevin Feige clarified that while scary it would still remain a family-friendly PG-13 property.

The debate about whether or not the sequel is too scary may seem moot now though, as Elizabeth Olsen herself has hyped up its horror elements in multiple interviews for well over a year now.

While it may be difficult to say if Doctor Strange 2 is truly a horror movie, Elizabeth Olsen has teased that the goal was to make the scariest Marvel movie. The fact that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is planned to be the scariest Marvel movie is just another hint for fans about how the MCU will explore different genre experiments.
