Here’s What Ruby Rose Revealed About Her Leaving The “Batwoman” Series!

Ruby Rose has finally revealed what really happened to her and Batwoman. The actress had been playing the superhero since 2019, but she left in October 2020 because of a personal reason. Ruby Rose told Entertainment Tonight that she wanted to “make space for someone else” which is why she decided to leave. She also said that her decision was not made quickly – it took time for her to come up with an answer so there would be no hard feelings or confusion about the situation. Read on below!

About the Series “Batwoman”

Batwoman is an American television series produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television-based on the DC Comics character Batwoman, with Rose playing Kate Kane/Batwoman. The show premiered on The CW on October 6, 2019, as a part-network crossover event which also included Arrow and Supergirl.

Ruby has revealed why she left Batwoman – it was because she wanted someone else to get their chance at being alive, to have that joy.

Rose also revealed why she left Batwoman on Instagram; with a heartfelt post: “What an honor and privilege; it was for me; while playing Kate Kane/Batwoman, to step into these iconic shoes,” she wrote in the caption; of her story. “Not just as a woman who wants nothing more than acceptance; from society. But as someone who is fighting every single day; of my life against self-hatred.” She continued by saying this decision meant no longer standing up; for people like herself: LGBTQ+, female empowerment, mental illness awareness. And finally; said goodbye with one last message: “Thank you all for this journey.”

“Ruby Rose has revealed a reason why she left Batwoman!” instead of saying it’s ‘exclusive news’. Ruby is no longer on the show and her leaving would not be considered exclusive.

Batwoman Season 3 Release Date Announcements

Wallis Day, who played as Ms. America in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has been cast to replace Ruby Rose and will be playing the titular character in season three of batwoman!

The show is currently being filmed and no release date announcements have yet been made but we can expect it to come out sometime this year or next year depending on when filming finishes up!

It’s rumored that they are planning on releasing Season Three later this year so keep your eyes peeled for more updates! Surprisingly we have an official release date for the series which is  October 13, 2021.

Batwoman” follows a woman with international interests and expertise in science who fights crime using methods unlike any seen before on the series.

She is armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind which has often placed Kate in conflict with those who oppose her, including Batman’s alter-ego Bruce Wayne.

Ruby Rose, the actress who played Batwoman in CW’s “Batwoman” Season One has revealed on her Instagram story that she left the show.

Ruby posted a photo of herself wearing an all-black outfit and captioned it with: “So I guess some people are saying I voluntarily quit batwoman? Not true.” She also said in her video that she was not going to be starring as Batwoman anymore because they had different views about what should happen for season two and if there would even be one at all. A day after this announcement by ruby rose, The CW released a statement confirming ruby’s exit from the series but adding no details regarding any possible future return.
