What Happened At The End Of Biohackers Season 2?

Biohackers season 2

At the end of Biohackers season 2, there was a lot of drama and excitement! To understand what happened at the end, you first have to go back and watch the show.

If you’re not sure where to start, here is everything that has happened so far:

The first five minutes of the season finale reinforce that Mia is a person of conscience. She won’t resign to being a victim and she can’t stand by while someone else dies, no matter what they did to her.

In Season 2 of Biohackers, Mia and Jasper pull Winter out of the wreckage after an accident at the lab. The two are not good people–but they remain true to their morals as they try to bring life back into his withered body.

They find a room full of little red books, detailed notes on every experiment Wolfgang von Fürstenberg has funded. The two steal one book and take the laptop as well in a feat of pure strength and adrenaline. While it may be unrealistic to think that this would happen, our hero’s show their depth by fighting for their lives.

Caro Cult wakes up in her father’s secret lab surrounded by clues to her discovery. Despite everything that happened to her and all of his horrific work, she remains loyal to him and searches out Mia and discovers where they have taken her on his request. I don’t think it quite makes sense to have the theme of loyalty come up again.

Biohackers has consistently relied on shifting power dynamics throughout its two seasons. In this finale, Lotta becomes one of those with more authority in the story after her father’s confession that he was able to arrange a swap for Mia.

Over the course of six episodes, we found out what happened to Mia. First, she was abducted and then tortured for information on the professor’s work. After being drugged with “Oblivion,” a drug that makes her forget even when she remembers things from before.

She was rescued after Lotta and Baron kidnapped Lorenz (Jessica Schwarz), who strapped a headgear to Mia which would reverse its effects using ultrasound sonication in hopes of restoring her memories. It’s incredibly dramatic and it works: despite getting shot by Lotta while recovering from surgery, she gets up alive and well with all her memories intact!

Other Things About Biohackers Season 2

At some point after the tragic second season of Biohackers aired, Mia meets with Lorenz in a distant field. Unbeknownst to them, their meeting was set up by the Baron von Fürstenberg kids, and when Lotta shoots her brother they both die around him in one another’s arms. It is unknown what the Baron’s final wish this time was or if it has now been fulfilled even though it seems obvious he wanted his sister out of harm’s way to make sure she succeeded.

Biohackers may have two seasons to lead this story, but season 2 of the series wraps up with a sense of calm. Mia and her family may be back in seemingly safe territory, after living on the run from Lorenz and his deadly plans for them. After all that violence and betrayal they’ve experienced so far, it can be hard to believe Biohackers will conclude here — but it’s rare to see a show satisfy at both points in the narrative timeline without tension or drama. With any luck, viewers won’t have long to wait before finding out if I was wrong about my prediction!
