Live-action Reboot of “The Fairly Odd Parents” Latest Updates And Official News!
The live-action reboot of The Fairly Odd Parents is set to premiere in 2021-22. Nickelodeon has already released all the cast members and plot information for this highly anticipated show!
Allie DiMeco, who you may recognize from her role as Minka Mark on “Full House,” will be playing Timmy Turner’s best friend Chloe Carmichael. She also played a younger version of Dora the Explorer on Disney Junior’s “Dora & Friends: Into the City!”
Nick Jonas, who most recently voiced Spider-Man in Disney XD’s “Marvel Rising: Initiation,” will play Tootie, Timmy Turner’s love interest and next-door neighbor.
About the Series “The Fairly Odd Parents”
The live-action Nickelodeon series “Fairly Odd Parents” is a spinoff of the animated show on Nickelodeon. The live-action version will be set in the present-day and follows Timmy Turner’s story as he grows up. It has been confirmed that Drake Bell, who voiced Timmy for over 15 years on television, will not return to reprise his role.
So far only one season has been announced for this live-action reboot with at least 18 episodes scheduled to air next year! Allie DiMeco gave us some hints about what we can expect from her character Chloe: “Chloe’s kind of like Dora – she gets into all sorts of trouble.” We are excited to see the live-action cast bring to life our favorite “Fairly Odd Parents” characters!

“The Fairly Odd Parents” live-action Reboot Renewal Status
On February 24, 2021, Nickelodeon announced that it has renewed the live-action reboot of “The Fairly Odd Parents”. The show will receive a second season with at least 18 episodes.
Release Date Speculations of the Series
On December 18, 2021, a live-action trailer of the show will be released on Nickelodeon’s Youtube Channel. The trailer features live-action versions of Cosmo and Wanda; as they go about their day-to-day lives; with Chloe Turner (voiced by Olivia Holt) and Dijjerl Jefferson (voiced by Veronica Dunne).
The live-action reboot; is set to premiere sometime at the end of 2021, but no official date has been announced yet; so speculation can only be made at this point.
Potential Plot Details for “The Fairly Odd Parents” live-action Reboot
The live-action reboot will be set in the late 1990s.
Chloe Turner; is just your average middle school girl; who has a little brother; named Dijjerl Jefferson; for whom she babysits. One day, Chloe discovers; that her absentminded scientist father; had created. And then subsequently lost two fairy godparents: Cosmo (voiced by Justin Chambers) and Wanda (voiced by Lisa Kudrow). After she wishes for them to live; with her family permanently, they do so without any further explanation; as to why they are there or what their purpose is. However, when all three; of them start wishing things into existence; around the house; like instant oatmeal cereal. But also find themselves in trouble such as Mom’s car randomly disappearing; to live with them.
Cast and Characters Guide for the Series
They are still currently auditioning for actors so no cast has been announced yet. Cosmo: Justin Chambers, an absent-minded scientist. Cosmo has a habit of mixing up his words and he is not always the smartest person in the room but that doesn’t stop him from trying to be the best godparent ever! He loves playing with Chloe’s hair, driving cars around her bedroom at top speed, and spending time hanging out with Wanda. His favorite thing to do when it rains is drunk hot chocolate snuggled under a blanket by a fire.
Wanda: Lisa Kudrow; this levelheaded nurse knows how to keep things organized and calm – even if she does live inside someone else’s head most of the time! Outgoing and spunky, Wanda likes surprising people with new experiences.
The series will be co-executive produced by Daran Jones and Butch Hartman, who created the original TV show! Casting for characters like Timmy Turner’s dad Mr. Turner; Mrs. Crocker at school; Tootie (Timmy’s long-time crush); Vicky (Timmy’s babysitter) has already begun! The live-action reboot is set to air as a one-hour TV special on Nickelodeon and not as an animated series like the original version.
