Eternals Release Date Announcement
The movie was originally supposed to hit theaters on June 14th, 2020 but the release date has now been pushed back. The reason for this is because marvel needs more time to work out some technical difficulties around the visual effects of their new film “Eternals.” Now MCU has released an official date for the movie which is 5th November 2021.
Plot Details

The plot is centered on Ikaris and Sersi as they lead other beings evolved from human stock but possessing superhuman powers created through natural evolution as they battle to save humanity from an ancient evil that predates the universe.
This is a deep dive into MCU’s newest film “Eternals”. There are several potential Eternals to choose from but at this time we just don’t know!
Can we expect to see the original Avengers in the movie?
No.
The film will be a “standalone” feature with its own separate cast, as confirmed by Kevin Feige at SDCC 2020. The only exception to this is Iron Man who was introduced in the MCU via Avengers Assemble in 2012 and has appeared across various films since then including Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Spiderman: Homecoming (2017).
Cast and Characters Updates for MCU’s Eternals Movie
Richard Madden will play Ikaris, an Eternal who can generate and control cosmic energy in all its forms including light and heat at any intensity.
Lauren Ridloff is playing Makkari, an Eternal with superhuman physicality capable of moving vast distances faster than anyone else. She’s also able to use her speed for fine motor skills such as lockpicking or creating complex machinery like weapons with ease!
Kumail Nanjiani plays Thena, an eternal born from Earth but now living on Titan (who didn’t know about this?!?) who has extraordinary strength that makes her more powerful than most.
