Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will be a Netflix Anime series based on Resident Evil II that will take place 20 years after the events of Resident Evil VII Biohazard. It follows Clare Redfield, who has been fighting alongside her brother Chris against those like Umbrella Corp., which poses an international crisis due to their deadly T-virus leak.

The Storyline for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness tells a new story in the Resident Evil universe. In Resident Evil, the Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus lets loose on Raccoon City after an accidental leak kills thousands of people and animals. The virus is then spread to other parts of the world, creating Bioterrorism events that become global threats; these events are also called Global Incidents or simply G-Incidents by members of the U.S. government acronym for “Global Incident Countermeasures Centre.” It will follow Clare Redfield, who has been fighting alongside her brother Chris against evil organizations like Umbrella. Now she must fight this evil from the inside out while dealing with some personal demons as well!

Newly released footage for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness showcases Claire coming back home to find it overrun with zombies. She soon realizes that she has been away for a year and is shocked to find remnants of Resident Evil VII’s world in her own home.

Clare must now fight this evil from the inside out while dealing with some personal demons as well, which will be integral to Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness’ storyline. The series also stars Resident Evil favorites like Leon Kennedy, who returns through flashbacks to his time in Raccoon City during the horrific nightmare caused by an Umbrella Corporation experiment called “The T-Virus.”

No! Resident Evil doesn’t appear as a franchise in Resident Evil Infinity Darkness at all. The story revolves around Claire Redfield (Resident Force VI). And Ada Wong fighting; to survive in Raccoon City; during the zombie apocalypse. Unlike previous entries, it features no gunplay; but focuses heavily on melee combat; with various items found; in the environment such as knives and pipes; or picked up from enemies themselves; like chainsaws and axes – eventually unlockable for use Evil: Infinite Darkness casts Resident Evil’s iconic heroine as Ada Wong, a woman with roots in the spy industry who is often sent on missions to steal secrets from rival companies.

How does Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness connect with Resident Force VI?

Resident Evil VII and Resident Force VI are set concurrently so there will be references to one another but they don’t directly cross over like when Claire Redfield appears at the end of Resident Enemy IV or Chris appeared in Resident Evil III before he became an official member of STARS. That said, these two stories do take place simultaneously during different time periods (notably, Leon would have been about 12 years old while Claire was attending university abroad). It’s unclear if we’ll see their storylines converge in Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
