Fast And Furious 10: World’s Upcoming Top Action Movies

Fast And Furious 10

Just when we thought the Fast and Furious franchise was going to take a break, they return with more action than ever before. The latest installment is about the death of Paul Walker who starred in six of the previous films. This film brings back all your favorite characters including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Tyrese Gibson.

Return Of The Icon: Paul Walker

Justin Lin, the director of Fast & Furious: 10, is considering bringing Paul Walker back to the film. The ninth installment in the franchise opened this week and many are excited about it as well as A Quiet Place Part II  which brought audiences back to theaters Memorial Day weekend; both films are on track for favorable box office numbers.

The Fast & Furious franchise is one of the biggest in Hollywood, and Paul Walker was a major part of that success. He starred in seven films before he tragically died in 2013. After his death, producers put all plans on hold to figure out how to continue with the series without him. In 2015’s Furious 7, Walker’s character drives off into the sunset with Mia (Jordana Brewster) and his family, signifying that they will live happily ever after together.

Bringing Paul Walker’s character back for Fast & Furious 10 and 11 is now a plausible reality. The possibility of bringing Walker’s character back for the final two installments is a very real possibility considering how advanced CGI has become.

Fast & Furious 6 was rewritten to give Walker’s character a proper sendoff and his brothers Cody and Caleb were used to helping recreate Paul’s likeness on screen. Another massively popular franchise, Star Wars, has proven with its recent history that recreating deceased actors’ likenesses with CGI is possible.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story brought back Grand Moff Tarkin over 20 years after his death.

Princess Leia’s story in the latest Star Wars film focuses on her absence, not her presence. In Carrie Fisher’s absence (before filming), The Rise of Skywalker was able to provide a conclusion because it had CGI and unused footage from prior installments. However, this may not be possible for Walker because his family needs to approve before any likeness can be used.
