Tom Hopper, star of the Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy,” discusses how his diet improved his life in a recent interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle. Tom has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and was told by doctors that he would never be able to act again. But Tom’s changed his lifestyle for the better – including adopting a plant-based diet – and now he is back on set filming season two of ” The Umbrella Academy .”

Tom has a disorder that affects the nervous system, multiple sclerosis (MS). Hopper was told by doctors that he would never be able to act again because MS has a long-term degenerative effect on neurological function. Tom’s life changed when he took matters into his own hands and made lifestyle changes – including adopting a plant-based diet.

Tom now lives with chronic pain from his condition but says it doesn’t affect him as much ,any more thanks to his new vegan diet, which controls inflammation levels. He also feels healthier overall than ever before!

“Having MS is not a death sentence.” Tom told Express.co.uk, “It’s just one of those things where you have to take care of yourself, and I think the vegan diet does that for me really well because it controls inflammation levels in my body, so I feel like I’m giving myself an edge over other people with chronic pain who don’t do anything about their diets or how they live.”

The actor has been able to maintain his career as a successful actor thanks to adopting this new lifestyle – he even got cast on season two of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy!

Tom then went on to say that doctors had given him no hope, telling Tom that his acting career would be over because MS causes long-term degenerative effects on neurological function, eventually leading to paralysis or brain damage (as well as lots more side effects). However, Tom said that since going vegan four months ago, he feels healthier than ever before – which could have something to do with this diet controlling inflammation levels. Who is Tom Hopper?

Tom Hopper is a British actor. Known for his roles in The Hobbit trilogy, Game of Thrones, and TV series; The Umbrella Academy. When Tom was diagnosed; with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 – something he had been living with since the age of 18 without knowing – everything changed. “I didn’t want to be that guy that said, ‘oh yeah, I’ve got MS, but it’s all cool,’” he told Express, “I wanted to make a difference.” That led him on an incredible journey: from being practically bed-ridden at times due to fatigue and muscle pain to having enough energy now to work two jobs (including one as creative director for Viva! Life).

Tom Hopper, known as Ruprecht Kreuger on the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, has been in some of your favourite TV shows and movies, including Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, Merlin, and more. Tom’s most notable role to date is that of the vampire Jerry Dandridge from True Blood!
