A Forgotten John Travolta Movie now on Netflix

John Travolta has been in the news a lot recently because of his new movie. And while many people have seen it, I would argue that there are another one of John’s movies that deserves some attention. The Forgotten is an American drama thriller film written and directed by Gregory Hoblit. It was released on November 18, 2006, to only modest box office success but mixed reviews. Now, this forgotten John Travolta movie is available for streaming on Netflix!

Storyline

The story is about a man, Dr. Sam Blake, who has been the head of emergency medicine at a hospital for 25 years. One day he wakes up in his home, and there’s another doctor named Brenda Marshall living with him. After an initial shock, he finds that she was hired to take over as director of the ER- because he had a heart attack and is now retired. He tries to make the best of it, but he’s feeling alienated from his former life because Brenda Marshall has made changes in motion that Dr. Sam Blake doesn’t agree with. What makes matters worse for him is trying to keep up appearances – pretending everything’s fine when really, he wants to be left alone.
