The plot of Greenland: Migration

Greenland is about a 55-year-old American who has been living abroad for the last decade and decides to go back home after his father passed away. He winds up going to university in Nebraska before being accepted into an exchange program at University College London that lasts one semester. When he comes back from England, though, something feels different, and he starts looking around his hometown with new eyes, which leads him to Greenland.

After meeting with the natives there (who are speaking Danish), it’s clear that they share some cultural similarities even if their languages are completely different – like how both cultures have structures surrounding food sharing or eating together as a family.
