The Blacklist Season 8 Story Details:
Raymond Reddington, facing his most formidable enemy yet, decides that he needs to align himself with Elizabeth Keen in order to find out what his endgame really is. He needs her mother’s infamous (and untrustworthy) Russian spy Katarina Rostova, too.
Liz must decide how far she is willing to go as well. The mutual distrust between Reddington and Keen will have devastating consequences for everyone caught in the middle, including her former team.
Liz and her team are hired to find the perpetrator of a series of bombings. Meanwhile, Liz tries to get closer with Reddington in order to learn about his plans for Katarina Rostova, while Red remains suspicious of Keen’s motives.
As she investigates more into it, she learns that the truth might be closer than ever before as this season comes full circle back to where it all began-the original bombing at FBI headquarters.
The Blacklist Season Eight Review:
I think I’m going through some sort of Zemanie cycle because when I first saw The Blacklist after its hiatus from last fall until now, I was certain there were only four episodes left in the entire show (and not just this season) because they wrapped up all three storylines neatly and quickly.
As it turns out, that might have been a good thing-just as we’re feeling confident about how things are going to end with Red being killed by Berlin or Tom setting fire to himself like he did at the end of last season.
