Maya and the Three: What We Know So Far

The myth of Maya and the three is an ancient myth that has been adapted into a Netflix original series. The show follows the story of two friends, Maya and Miguel, as they discover their family’s connection to this myth. What many people may not know is that there are 13 episodes in total for season 1. We will be discussing what we know so far about this new show!

In the first episode, we are introduced to Maya and Miguel, who have very different lives. They both live in their own realities with a father that works for an excavation company called Gomez & Sons. The show opens up when they end up on the same digging site where they discover something. They realize that their family has some connection to the Maya myth.

In Episode Two, we see more of how Miguel and Maya grow close as they spend time together. They also figure out what is in common between each other’s lives; a man named Hector who works for Gomez & Sons. He offers them both something different: he provides Maya with comfort from her father by giving advice about him while he gives Miguel money so he can afford school tuition and his bike back which causes tension within Maria’s home life.

What is the release date?

In the original announcement back in 2018, “Maya and the Three” had a release date in 2021. But, this show might come out late as expected. Netflix has not made any further comments on the release date. But guesses can be made; it will release in the second half of 2021.
