“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III” takes place after “Avengers: Infinity War.” The team has been disbanded following Quill’s decision at its end not to destroy the artifact that would have allowed Thanos (Josh Brolin) to complete his quest for six stones, but now they’ll need it themselves as their lives are threatened by Nathan Fillion, who was also cast for this movie- playing Gef the Ravager.

The third volume of Guardians of the Galaxy has been set up in such a manner that it may have opened up more mysteries than resolving them after having taken place just after “Avengers: Infinity War.”

About “Guardians of Galaxy”

“Guardians of the Galaxy” has been a very popular series, with its first two volumes making it to the top five lists in Box Office. The film is also among one of Marvel’s most expensive box office films and was given an IMAX release which made it earn $181 million at the end of its run from theaters, thus taking down Black Panther’s record for earning more money on weekdays than any other movie.

I’m not sure how you guys feel about this, but some Guardians fans believe that Gef may have kidnapped Nebula (Karen Gillan) from her confinement inside Thanos’ ship after he was defeated by our favorite heroes, as seen in Avengers: Infinity war so we will see her again in “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.

After all, Nebula was one of Gef’s adopted children, and he almost killed her after she tried to kill Gamora (Zoe Saldana). He also seemed like a very kind person who actually cared for his daughter, so I’m pretty sure that he would have done anything for Gef if it meant getting revenge on Thanos, as seen when Nebula attacked him with an energy beam which made him fall out of space.
