Officials confirm that filming for “The Mandalorian” Season 3 has not begun! Everything we know so far.

The Mandalorian Season 3

The Mandalorian Season 3 is the next big project from Disney and Lucasfilm. The show was confirmed for a third season back in November 2018, but since then, we haven’t heard much about it. We know that filming will start soon, but it’s still unclear when exactly that will be. Here’s everything we know so far about The Mandalorian!

Official News about the filming of the show:

Pedro Pascal, who plays The Mandalorian in the show, confirmed to Comicbook.com that filming for Season Three has not yet begun: “No, we haven’t started shooting season three.”

How long will it be until filming begins? It could start any day now! The production company behind the show is currently looking for a location near London – maybe this means they’re getting ready to film somewhere other than Southern California, where previous seasons have been set.

In a preview of Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Pascal gave an update on The Mandalorian’s progress to fellow Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor. When the Obi-Wan actor asked if Pascal was currently filming The Mandalorian season 3, Pascal responded: “We haven’t shot the third season. So, confidentially, no, maybe I shouldn’t.” Check out the clip below.

We don’t know when filming will begin either — but there are rumours that it might happen around November 2021.

This hints that the show will not be out until 2022. We can only hope it’s worth the wait!

The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date Updates:

The Mandalorian season 3 is confirmed and filming this year – but you might have to wait a little longer than you originally hoped. While seasons 1 and 2 debuted in November 2019 and October 2020, respectively, Mando’s third outing isn’t due until 2022. And that’s all we know because a specific Mandalorian season 3 release date is yet to be confirmed. At least we can look forward to The Book of Boba Fett’s arrival in late 2021 to fill that Star Wars-shaped hole on Disney Plus.

Boba Fett has been confirmed by writer Jon Favreau as being one of the many people likely to be making an appearance in the third instalment of The Mandalorian.

The storyline for the third season 3:

The third season was supposed to take place after The Force Awakens and before A New Hope. It will be set on the Outer Rim planet of Mandalore, following a man who wears Mandalorian armour but fights with Jedi ideals.
