Renewal And Release Details:
On the heels of Thursday night’s Season 1 finale, HBO renewed hit unscripted drag show We’re Here for a second season. The six episodes of the first season premiered on April 23 with much critical acclaim.
Premise Of Season 1:
The true-life series follows renowned drag queens Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara, and Shangela Laquifa Wadley to small towns across America. They encourage locals to share their stories openly with them before exploring a hidden side of themselves in a night of no-holds-barred, full-on drag
Season 1 of we’re here profiled Gettysburg, PA; Twin Falls, ID; Branson, MO; Farmington, NM, and Ruston LA. The season finale discussed the queens’ stories of fight and perseverance before ending with a celebration of love and pride in oneself.
Plot Synopsis Of Season 2:
Season one of We’re Here ended with a celebration of love and pride. Now, in Season Two, the queens will explore a different side to their personality while exploring queer culture throughout America’s heartland.
