Synopsis:

At the beginning of the episode, “I Want You With Me,” Cristina Yang says goodbye to her friends as she is leaving for New York due to her cancer diagnosis. Meredith Grey also has trouble saying goodbye – especially with Alex Karev, who she thinks might be having an affair. She decides that they should break up, but he doesn’t want it, so they agree on being just friends instead. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) still wants them back together, though, and tries his best to win her over one last time before she leaves town for good.
