“Tribes of Europe” Season 2 Review: Plot, Casting and More

Tribule Season 2

“Tribes of Europe” is a show that follows the lives of 17 British families who are descendants of European tribes. The first season was released on 10th March, and the second season will be coming out soon! In this blog review, we discuss everything you need to know about “Tribes of Europe.”

Season Two Format:

The second season of “Tribes of Europe” will be featuring the descendants from 16 new tribes. Viewers can expect to see some familiar faces and learn about their ancestry, but it is not yet confirmed which tribe they are descended from.

The filming for Season One took place between October 2017 until April 2018, with crews visiting over 70 locations in 12 countries on three continents during this time. As well as following these 17 families all around Europe – including Croatia, Poland, and Belarus – we also saw them visit Italy’s iconic city of Rome before heading back home to London at the end of each episode.

In addition to showcasing beautiful landscapes throughout a continent that is rich in history and culture, viewers were able to take a glimpse into the daily lives of these families – from their homes to how they work and spend time with each other.

What we do know is that some of the cast members from Season One’s tribes may return, including Lapps, Romanies, Sami, and Travellers.

Who will be returning?

This season features four different types entering the mix, namely North Africans, Middle Easterners, Asians, and Americans/Canadians – making it up to eight total families living on an isolated patch of land with a devastating secret.

What is the Plot?

This season features four different types entering the mix, namely North Africans, Middle Easterners, Asians, and Americans/Canadians – making it up to eight total families living on an isolated patch of land with a devastating secret.

The second series is set in three countries that have been chosen as settings for this cycle. These are Australia, Canada, and Sweden. The first tribe (Americans) will be based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, while the other two tribes will be located at separate sites in Melbourne and Stockholm, respectively.

“We’re going to see these people come together as they figure out how their new world works,” says Mandviwalla. “And we’ll also explore what happens when it’s clear that there’s something not right about the situation.”

It’s interesting to see how the show has evolved. Whereas the first season focused on a group of African Americans, this new series will instead focus on Canadians and Australians as well as America. All three groups have their own unique cultures – which is something that was missing from Season One.

The two tribes in Vancouver are The Ruggeds (USA) and The Skylines (Canada). The third tribe — called Blood Ties for reasons I’m not going to spoil here– lives outside Melbourne at an abandoned vineyard, while the fourth life at Stockholm, where they take residence near a large canal.

There’s another twist this year: all four “tribes” will be competing against one another rather than just living side-by-side.

Released Date:

No official release date or timetable has been announced. When an announcement is made indicating there will be new episodes on the way is most likely when the premiere date will make itself known.

It would seem unlikely that Tribes of Europa season 2 make its way to Netflix in 2021, but it could very well river at some point in 2022, depending on when production gets started and how long it takes.
