Scream (also known as Scream 5) is a forthcoming American meta-slasher film that serves as the fifth installment in Scream’s movie series. It is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. The film is produced by Vandy, Chad Villella, Paul Neinstein, William Sherak, and Kevin Williamson.

Filming And Release Details Of Scream 5:
Production on the film first began in May 2020, but filming had to be halted due to the site being hit by COVID-19. Filming resumed two months later. The film was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina, across several locations, including exterior shots of Williston Middle School and interior shots of Cardinal Lanes Shipyard and 10th Street (between Ann and Castle streets).
The film was granted $7 million in rebates by the North Carolina Film Office and wrapped filming on November 17, 2020. in April 2020, the fact that there are different versions of the movie’s screenplay and filmed scenes to prevent any details from being leaked in advance was confirmed. The film will be released on January 14, 2022.
