The long-awaited Creed 3 is finally here! The release date has been announced, and the trailer, cast, plot details, and other updates have been unveiled. It’s time for you to get your tickets to see the newest instalment of this boxing franchise!

When will Creed 3 be out in cinemas?

The third instalment; is currently scheduled; for a November 23, 2022 release date, banking on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend; in the USA. So far, that date seems; fairly set in stone, but with the constant changes; to cinema schedules happening recently, never say never.

Who can we expect to see in Creed 3?

There are a few returning cast members, but the story will mostly focus; on Adonis Creed’s son Johnny. And his relationship; with Rocky Balboa. It looks like Tessa Thompson; is set to play Bianca Porter, who was an enemy; of sorts in Creed II.

The Creed family tree; is expanded with more characters; from previous films; making an appearance; in Creed III including; Michael B Jordan; who plays the son of Apollo Creed (played by Carl Weathers) George Washington Duke; was also confirmed; from earlier reports playing “a pivotal role” alongside Mike Tyson. Phylicia Rashad; will be reprising her role; as Mary Anne Creed, and she joins fellow cast members; like Dolph Lundgren, Tony Burton (Frankie), Burgess Meredith (Mickey Goldmill), and others.

What can we expect from this film?

The plot for Creed III seems fairly similar to that of the first two – which drew mixed reviews among fans. However, it definitely has some new twists and turns planned out, so there should be plenty here for long-time followers to enjoy!

The Creed III plot will centre around Adonis’ son, Johnny (played by Michael B Jordan), with the story mainly following “his relationship with Rocky Balboa.” This is a major departure from Creed II, where Adonis was played by professional boxer Andre Ward. While it’s unknown if Tessa Thompson will be taking on Bianca Porter as her character in Creed IV or not, she’ll at least be starring alongside Tony Bellew, who portrays Ivan Drago in this third instalment of the film series. Throwback to when he said that Creed III would explore “what happens to someone like Ivan Drago after what happened in ‘Rocky IV?’”

A new promo released on August 27th, 2020, for the film offers a sneak peek at what is coming up in this third instalment of the boxing franchise. It also gives us some insight into where we will be going when it comes to plot details, as well as how many returning cast members there are from previous films! There can’t be too much more waiting left now before an official trailer drops, so watch out for that soon if you’re keen to see all these updates come together.

The plot of Creed 3:

Since Baylin is still hard at work on the script, we don’t have any idea where Donnie’s story will take him next. While it might seem a little repetitive to bring back another son of one of Rocky’s old enemies, we’ve got to say that we’d still be totally on board with the Deontay-Wilder-as-Clubber’s-son idea — although, if we’re honest, we don’t find that to be too likely.

Unless Thompson is unable to be involved, we find it to be a near-certainty that Creed III will have a strong focus on the relationship between Donnie and Bianca. Also, we’re pretty sure there will be at least one boxing match.

Is Creed 3 worth watching?

Yes, Creed III is worth watching. The first teaser footage released for Creed III looks promising, and it has the potential to be as good or even better than Rocky IV! Stay tuned for more updates on this upcoming flick!
